I aspire to be like my window cleaner whose mantra is - when your times up, your times up. Mind you he drinks like a fish, smokes like a chimney and has already had two heart attacks. I can't help but admire his fortitude though :D Thanks for reading and commnenting. I've just turned 50 and although for a couple of reasons I've been to the docs/hospital more times in the last 3 months than I have in the last 30 years I haven't really given it much thought. I find it's just better to get on with something else than to worry about what might be. However, I have been amazed by some of my friends who although they're not much older than me seem obsessed with who's I'll and who's died - and what age they were. 'Death is just another path' said the very wise Gandalf, or more likely Tolkein and I have no problem facing that though I guess it all depends on how you end up approaching it. Also, we live in a culture of self-obsession. I think that's what it all comes down to!Terry Tylerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15077413235902203848noreply@blogger.com
